If you live in San Francisco long enough, you’re bound to feel it. Nowhere in the U.S. do people think more about earthquakes than here. Of course, we have a little historical precedence (hello 1906 and 1989) that’s shaken us to the core, with other constant reminders that our city’s subject to constant change out here on the edge. But it suits us in a city where people and businesses come and go, where fortunes are made and lost, we’ve learned not to get too attached to things.
